🌊 Coastal Cradle & Co Terms of Service & Rental Agreement

1. Agreement to Terms

By booking or renting equipment from Coastal Cradle & Co (“Company,” “we,” “our”), you (“Customer,” “you,” “your”) agree to the following Terms of Service. This agreement applies to all rentals, services, and deliveries in Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach, and surrounding areas.

2. Rental Period & Delivery

  • Rental begins on the confirmed delivery date and ends on the agreed pickup date.

  • Extensions must be requested in advance and are subject to availability and additional charges.

  • Customer must provide accurate delivery information and ensure safe access for delivery and pickup.

  • Rentals on Amelia Island / Fernandina Beach are subject to local Resort Rental Dwelling Permit (RRDP) rules. Coastal Cradle & Co complies with all city licensing, inspections, and business tax requirements.

3. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customer is responsible for safe, proper, and intended use of all rented equipment.

  • Equipment should be kept indoors when not in use and protected from weather, pets, and smoke exposure.

  • Car seats are provided for convenience only. Customer assumes full responsibility for proper installation and use in accordance with manufacturer instructions.

  • Customer agrees not to sub-rent, sell, or otherwise transfer rented equipment.

4. Cleaning, Damage, and Loss

  • All equipment is professionally cleaned and sanitized before delivery.

  • Items must be returned in reasonably clean condition. Excessive dirt, stains, smoke exposure, or pet hair may result in a cleaning fee of $25–$75.

  • Lost, stolen, or irreparably damaged items will be charged at replacement cost (current retail value).

5. Cancellations, Refunds & Taxes

  • Cancellations made 7 or more days before delivery: Full refund.

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before delivery: 50% refund.

  • No refunds for early returns once the rental period begins.

  • Applicable Florida Sales Tax (6%) + Nassau County Tourist Development Tax (4%) will be collected and remitted in compliance with state and local law.

6. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required at booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Unpaid balances may result in cancellation of service and/or collection actions.

  • Accepted payment methods: credit card, PayPal, Square, BabyQuip storefront..

7. Liability Disclaimer

  • Coastal Cradle & Co is not liable for accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from the use or misuse of rented equipment.

  • Customer assumes all risk and responsibility for safe use, including proper supervision of children.

  • By renting, Customer releases and holds harmless Coastal Cradle & Co, its owners, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or liabilities associated with equipment rental or use.

  • Coastal Cradle & Co maintains a 24/7 local contact, as required by the City of Fernandina Beach, to respond within 30 minutes to guest issues.

8. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nassau County, Florida.
